Monster trucks are specially built vehicles with enormous tires that can be over 1.5 metres tall — nearly as tall as an adult. They weigh about 4,500 kilograms, yet their powerful engines can launch them several metres into the air over crushed cars or dirt ramps. Events feature tricks like wheelies, donuts, and high jumps.
Coloring ideas: make the truck body a fierce color — bright red, electric blue, or lime green. Color the flame shapes orange, red, and yellow to look like real fire. The huge tires are black with gray highlights on the tread. Add bold colors to the shock absorbers and axle frame.
Kids can invent a name and logo for their monster truck and draw it on the door panels. Older kids can add motion blur lines around the tires and dirt particles flying from the mound to make the jump look more dramatic.
