Who we are

ColorNest is operated by The ColorNest Studio. Contact: hello@colornest.com.

Data we collect

ColorNest is a static site. We do not run a registration system, comment system, or shopping cart. The only data collected is:

  • Server logs: Standard web server logs include your IP address, the page requested, referrer, and browser user agent. Logs are retained for security purposes and deleted within 30 days.
  • Analytics: If Google Analytics 4 is active, anonymous usage statistics (page views, session duration, device type) are collected. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics. IP addresses are anonymized.
  • Advertising: Display advertisements may be served by our ad network partner (Mediavine/Journey). The ad network may use cookies and device identifiers to serve relevant ads. See the ad network's privacy policy for details.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

ColorNest is directed to parents, teachers, and caregivers — not directly to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us at hello@colornest.com and we will delete it promptly.

Note to site owners: If your audience includes children under 13, you must enable child-directed treatment settings in your ad network dashboard (COPPA mode in Mediavine/Journey; child-directed tag in Google Ad Manager). This limits the types of data used for ad targeting and is required by law.

Cookies

ColorNest itself does not set cookies. Our ad network partner may set cookies for advertising purposes. You can opt out of interest-based advertising through the NAI opt-out tool or your browser's privacy settings.

Third-party links

We may link to external resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data held about you. Since we hold minimal personal data, most requests can be addressed by contacting us at hello@colornest.com.
